Grub Up

Friday 25th July 2008 by Steve Mayne

This evening I topped up the Girls food, rinsed out and replaced their water, and cleaned their poo trays and bars, popped down some Anti-Mite powder.

Our chooks are mite-free but it smells nice.

As treats they had some corn which they took from my hand and a bit of pear as a treat.

Mother Hen picked up some lawn-edging (£1.99 per 9m pack) that we will attach to the side of the run for when we pop down some bark or wood chippings for them to scratch around in. So we’ll do that soonish.
