We’ve visited three different sets of Pet Stores for our Chicken Essentials, and with various degrees of success.
- Pets At Home
Pets At Home had no Chicken stuff whatsoever. Well, I should say they had no stuff for Chickens, as they did have cat and dog food that had chicken in them. A good Aquarium set up that both our boys enjoyed. A bit chavvy with their pink accessories for cats and dogs. Will never buy anything here.
- Pampurred Pets
Pampurred Pets had a few bits for chickens, as in loose seed you could buy. A bit of a squeeze to get around all the aisles. Probably won’t ever buy anything here.
Jollyes cater for mainstream pets such as Dogs, Cat, Fish, and rodents of various sizes. Horses, Chickens and Pigeon fanciers as well. Layers Pellets and Mash are at reasonable prices – and by far the cheapest for other bits and bobs such as feed tins, and whatnot. Loads of choices of loose seed, lotions, potions and goodies. Also it is the easiest to park at. This is my money pit.
We’ll be off to Scats in the next few weeks to checkout what they have to offer.
