Up and Out

Saturday 12th July 2008 by Steve Mayne

Mother Hen (my wife) let the chucks out at 07.25 this morning, and within a few minutes a couple where outside, and within ten minutes they’d all got themselves up. So the chickens are getting the hang of it.

Tonight will be interesting, will Red-Leader try to roost on the wheels or will she go to bed like a good girl?

Fawny must have been a grasshopper in the previous life as she does have a tendancy to bounce over other chickens in the run. Fawny is fast becoming a favourite.
