As mentioned earlier in this post we said we would be trialling our new Chooknik Satellite System for Egg Delivery. The new service guarantees fresh egg delivery anywhere in the world within 4 hours or less.
I am pleased to announce that the initial launch of Chooknik I was completed successfully. Due to a slight navigational error (the satnav was blu-tacked upside down) Chooknik I delivered the test payload of Rubber Chickens to Betelgeuse instead of the intended destination of Peckham. Residents of both locations were understandably furious.
Please see pictured below the successful launch Chooknik II which carefully delivered a it’s payload of five tons of China Eggs at approximately Mach 15 into the leafy suburbs of Chipping Norton. The good news is that there were no serious injuries but Aid Agencies are making urgent requests for Industrial Sized Containers of Lion Ointment.
Due to each flight of Chooknik costing £250 Million and complaints from the Chicken Controllers about burnt bum feathers, the program has been discontinued until the technical problems have been ironed out.
