No Treats for the Chooks

Friday 22nd August 2008 by Steve Mayne

No treats for the chooks for the next 7 days as they are being wormed and need to get the the right dosage of worming powder (flubenvet) in their feed. They have no sign of having worms and therefore this is the ideal time to do it at the ‘maintenance’ dosage which does not cause issue with eating their lovely eggs.

The chooks seem a bit disappointed but I have promised them extra Corn rations after this brief spell of abstinence.
