After a hasty change of plans … after realising that I was about to create an uncollapsable, unstorable behemoth of a Run … some thought overnight was taken and some design changes made to allow the run to be flat packed when not needed.
Between rain showers the following took place.
So get all the stuff out again.
Cutting the vertical supports of the end-panels
Oh look – I’ve made a rectangle (or a badly measured square).
Perfect fit for the weldmesh.
Vertical End Panel Friction Compression Fittings tentatively placed (the screws).
First two panels joined using screws.
Reverse view of this architectural wonderment.
Offering up the third panel.
It’s a perfect fit. Well, perfect enough for chickens.
Harebrained final end-panel under construction. I know what I want, just not worked it all out yet.
Fourth panel being offered the weldmesh.
All the panels on … just got the roof, and a door mechanism to add. Plus a shelter bit from the rain.
The Chickens are not interested at all.
