Sorry Mavis

Sunday 14th September 2008 by Steve Mayne

Before popping out for the day today … as usual we checked the nestbox for eggs. This often involves popping your hand under any nesting chickens to check for a egg that way laid by an earlier chicken. No point it staying in there, it’s safer in on the Egg Skelter.

Anyway, feeling under Mavis … there was an egg … but it was levitating. Oh I am sorry Mavis … I’ll let you finish that one off before I grab it.

I was very embarrassed … and apologised profusely.
