I’ve finished moving half a ton of soil as infill around the concrete base – and it’s all grass seeded so relying on nature to take it’s course over the next month or so.
Also took the opportunity to fill in a few other dips in the lawn – though only barely scratched the surface – it’s a start.
We got the soil from Cowplain Turf at a reasonable £57.50 per metric ton inclusive of delivery. The soil comes in a non-returnable Tote bag – idea for growing potatoes in.
In the longer term – once we are sure what we are going to have where – we might plant some perennial plants to the left, and in front of the base to soften the lines of the concrete.
A new shed (aka – one that isn’t being held up by gripfill) is on the cards next. Then maybe a walk-in run.
