What to do with a glut?

Not complaining, but the cucumber plants are still giving us way more cucumbers than we could ever eat… I asked the boys to help me take them indoors for me and this is what I was greeted with in my kitchen:

It may not be neat, but at least they helped!

Two of the youngest boys decided to help with the glut by tucking in there and then, bless ’em:

Yes, that’s right, Francis is eating a (very large) raw courgette!

Much of the glut is actually being fed to the chickens…well, they are part of the Mayne family…
