Cowplain Chip Shop – Hazleton Way

Wednesday 30th April 2014 by Steve Mayne

Spread the love

Cowplain Chip Shop on Hazleton Way in Cowplain has opened.

Formerly the site of the “Three Jun Take Away” – the new venture opened it’s doors for the first time earlier this week.

Offering burgers, pies, pasties, saveloys , sausages, fried fish – as well as chips – they have everything you could want from a fish and chip shop.

I was on my way to a meeting so was unable to pop in – certainly the smell was authentic even if I was unable to sample the food.

Now Cowplain/Horndean isn’t short of fish and chip shops – we believe the oldest fish and chip shop in the area is “The Lobster Pot” which is opposite The Spotted Cow Pub in Cowplain. And there is also “Banks Fish & Chips” which on the main parade of Cowplain Shops, located next to Lidl. Oh and the Village Chippy in Milton Road.

I guess with so many choices Waterlooville, Cowplain (and Horndean) must love it’s fish and chips?

Do you buy fish and chips? Which is your favourite chippy in the Horndean/Waterlooville/Havant area?

The new fish and chip shop in Hazleton Way is excellent, used to go to Banks at Cowplain but this one so much better, so much on offer too. Can recommend it.

Hi Patricia, thank you for your comment, perhaps we’ll need to give the Cowplain Chip Shop a try! Certainly they’ve got pretty much everything on the menu!
