‘ello ‘ello – Waterlooville Police Station Front Desk Re-opened

Monday 18th August 2014 by Amanda Mayne

Waterlooville Police Station’s front office closed in March 2012 and the nearest police station for members of the public to visit was Havant Police Station over in Civic Centre Road.

Obviously this is quite a trek for residents of Waterlooville, but we can confirm that the front desk is now re-open to members of the public, albeit on a part-time basis.

Waterlooville Police Station Swiss Road Opening

Hampshire Constabulary’s website confirms the opening times as follows:

  • 8am to 8pm Friday & Saturdays
  • 9am to 5pm Sundays (Closed 2pm-2.45pm)
  • Closed on Bank Holidays

Does anybody remember when this was built? What was this land used for? Who remembers the Police Station in Cowplain, opposite the shops?

It was the old post office sorting office on the land before this was built.

I remember the old police station, my GP was next to it (tiny little bungalow way before the massive practice was built)
