Didn’t get the memo – Council Vehicle on School Zigzags in Horndean

Last week the Hampshire County Council Road Safety Team launched a “Stop Means Stop” campaign to promote the respect of the county’s School Crossing Patrols.

This has to be a classic case of “Didn’t get the memo“. I took the following photo outside of Horndean Infant School this afternoon:

… it’s going to be tough for Hampshire County Council’s contractor Amey to dig themselves out of this one … though it looks like they came prepared!

All depends on what time of day it is, you say afternoon but what time. Mostly with school zigzags there is a sign around stating what times to not park on them. Normally 8-9 and 3-4.

Hi there, indeed there are signs saying not to park on the school zigzags – there are no times mentioned on the sign.
