Are you ready for Christmas?

Monday 22nd December 2014 by Steve Mayne

On Saturday afternoon after visiting Father Christmas at his ‘Frozen’ Grotto at Waterlooville Library we picked up a few bits for tea and was surprised how empty the precinct was on the last Saturday before Christmas.

Have you all finished your Christmas shopping already or were you still recovering from your office party?

I go to petersfield now..better range of shops easier to get to now due to traffic lights bus lanes etc…..and you can park for free on the side roads

Such a shame to see it so quiet, I thought the same when there earlier in the day! A definite need for a greater range of shops. All the houses being built, there has to be demand for better shopping area.

Cause the shops are rubbish in waterlooville they need to get bigger named shops in there instead of charity shops

There are a few Andrew. As ‘Late Night Shopping’ doesn’t seem to occur in Waterlooville, there is the question, are Christmas lights in the precinct still relevant?

It wasn’t that busy in Petersfield last Saturday…..seeing lots of you are going there now! I have a gift shop in pages court just off the night street and we were really quiet. Every e seems to have been super organised this year and got everything sorted well in advance…..well…..all except me! Lol!
