How to get to Cowplain Play Park

Tuesday 28th April 2015 by Steve Mayne

We keep getting asked … where is Cowplain Play Park … how do I get there?

Yesterday I filmed this video starting from Cowplain Shops to the play park – it’s speeded up so won’t take long ;)

Alternatively, here is a map of Cowplain Play Park – to get there, enter Padnell Road from the A3 by Cowplain Shops, take a right towards Padnell Junior School / Cowplain Activity Centre Association, then follow the path to your left towards the park:

Hopefully this blog post will help you find the Play Park!

or walk up Cherry Tree Ave and cut though on of the residential cul-de-sacs(I dont think theyll thank me for suggesting that and all the potential cars so use the activity centre car park!)

Three options !! Driveway down to Padnell Junior School, off of Padnell Road.
Top end of Padnell Avenue, Padnell Place cul de sac.
Or via cul del sac of Hurst Green Close or others off of Cherry Tree Avenue.

Shame they’re replacing that rocking horse. Scary but exhilarating part of my childhood. Nearly came a cropper on that many a time. 😄

Is anyone else pretty disappointed and underwhelmed by the new play area?
Lots of ‘what were they thinking?’ instances…

      Hi David

Certainly a few benches for parents would have been nice though this would have reduced the number of items installed; my children seemed to be happy enough on our brief visit last week.

A thumbs up from us :)
