I can’t believe it’s yet another story about Cowplain Pet Shop …

Saturday 11th April 2015 by Steve Mayne

So finally the mystery is solved…

Previously this shop was home to the much loved ‘Carters’ Sweet Shop, then in recent years the unit Cowplain Pet Shop. Sadly, the unit closed late last year and there was much discussion on our blog on possible new shops; one poster supposed it could even be an Ann Summers Boutique!

However, a lease was negotiated and it was confirmed that a Hairdressing Salon would take over. But, for whatever reason the owner of the new business abandoned their plans prior completing the refit of the premises.

Fast forward to April 2015, and finally a new sign has been installed: ‘Platinum Care at Home’. It’s a business that provides care for people in their own homes, not a conventional ‘shop’ as such, but at least the unit is being used.

We had a quick look at their website and it’s motto is, “…to enrich people’s life’s with a Holistic care package ensuring your dignity and choices are met at all times”.

If you feel you need a holistic care package, you can visit Platinum Care at Home’s website here: platinumcareathome.co.uk.
