Horndean Play Park Concepts Meeting

Monday 22nd June 2015 by Steve Mayne

For those that attended the Horndean Parish Council Play Parks Consultation, you may be interested to know that a follow-up meeting is planned for Wednesday 24th June.

The event will take place at Jubilee Hall, which is just off of Catherington Lane (not to be confused with Jubilee Park, Waterlooville) and runs from 3pm to 6.30pm.

Concept designs will be available during the meeting, and the Groundwork Team are looking for input local residents and parks users to see if they are on the right track for the following play parks:

  • Deep Dell (Hazleton Way)
  • Horndean Recreation Ground (Five Heads Road)
  • Downs Park (First Avenue, north Horndean)
  • Jubilee Field Play Area (Catherington Lane)

You might ask, what happened to the bird boxes the children painted during the half-term consultation, well they are on our shed. No visitors as yet … we will keep you informed …
