You may have seen flowers start to pop up around Waterlooville Precinct, this is no coincidence, this “Waterlooville in Bloom”.
Organised by Kelly from J.Edwards & Son Funeral Directors, Waterlooville in Bloom is a Waterlooville Community Forum Events project.
Businesses with plants we have spotted are:
- J.Edwards & Son Funeral Directors
- Coffeeville
- Grabalaptop
- The Co-operative Funeral Care
- The Butler’s Pantry Tea Room
- The Celebration Store
- Travel Planners
- Goodacre’s
- Planters by the Maurepas Way crossing, sponsored J.Edwards, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Ensignger Ltd, and Waterlooville Men’s Shed
- Felthams
It is brilliant to see these businesses, small and large, joining together to brighten up their corner of the precinct. Well done all!
All businesses can join in, please email Kelly at waterlooville@JEdwardsFuneraldirectors.co.uk to let her know.
We look forward to watching the flowers in these planters grow and grow over the coming months.
On to the photographs, let me know if any more planters spring up, and we’ll add them to this page.
I wondered why there was a council man watering the roundabout!
Have they never heard the expression: You can’t polish a turd…
Hello Lyn, wouldn’t it be wonderful if all the businesses had a few flowers outside? It’d build a sense of pride and community spirit, and that would lead on to bigger and better things? :)
