Independent Newsagents Keys News in Highfield is changing hands as of this September.
Details in the window say:
Dear Customers and Friends
We have been in the Highfield Avenue Parade for 12 years and it has been a really hard decision for us to leave the Newsagents and to concentrate more on Keys Trips and Events. The work load of trying to run the Newsagents and the Trips has become overwhelming and in order to run both well we feel it is time to bow out.
We would like to thank each and every one of our customers who over the years have become our friends, for their absolute support and loyalty which we will always be grateful and who have made Keys News what it is – the heart of the community.
We intend to run Keys Trips from an office in Highfield Parade so we won’t be disappearing off the face of the earth and we can concentrate and introduce more trips and events for our ever increasing customers to enjoy – Mrs Warbouys especially!!
From early September the new owner of Keys News will be Paul Tizzard, a local man, who is an experienced retailer and who we are sure will fulfil all your needs in the same way as you have been accustomed to.
We are pleased to say that Rob and all the team will remain with Keys News and we hope you will continue to support Keys News and Keys Trips and Events as you have done so loyally in the past.
A big thank you once again to everyone, Nick and Caroline Keys
Amanda and I would like to wish Nick, Caroline, Paul and the staff of Keys News Highfield all the best for the future!
