New Pets at Home under construction at Waterlooville Retail Park

Tuesday 19th April 2016 by Steve Mayne

Spread the love

A new Pets at Home is under construction at Waterlooville’s Wellington Retail Park.

The new Pets at Home store will be located between Bensons for Beds and DFS.

This will bring the total number of dedicated Pets Stores in Waterlooville to three. The other two pet stores are Jolleys located opposite Sainsbury’s, and PamPurredPets located in the Precinct.

Pampurred pets is closing down apparently. We need a sports shop in the retail park!

Pampurred Pets are definitely closing (as is the store in Havant) so we will have yet another empty unit in the London Road precinct. The Waterlooville store are having what is effectively a closing-down sale if anyone wants what is left. Great pity – they were very useful and this is yet another setback for the town centre regenration.

Why can’t we have an electrical store like Currys? And does anyone know who is moving into the empty shop opposite Costa in the precinct?

Really, is that the best we can hope for. Jollyes does an excellent job already. Pets at home in Havant sold us the wrong sex rabbits even though 3 in-house “Vets” had told us that we had 2 females even though we were sure one was a male. 8 baby bunnies later we got a 100 pound credit note from Pets at home and they took some of the babies back from us as ‘unwanted purchases’

I’m still going to go to Jollyes, even though I do go to Pets at Home if I’m in Havant

Prefer Jolleys. Pets at Home a bit pricy. Pity we couldn’t have had something different for a change. Same old, same old 😊
