New Flats & Retail Units for Cowplain Shops

Wednesday 14th September 2016 by Steve Mayne

If you have passed through Cowplain recently you may have noticed that the former retail premises of DanceFit Central are currently undergoing building work.

The ground floor of the premises have been granted change of use and will be sub-divided into two class A1 shops.

The top floor is being divided into three one-bedroom flats. Each flat will have a kitchen, living area, bathroom and separate bedroom.

You can find the plans for the conversion on the Havant Borough Council Planning website. Our thanks to Stuart for the tip.

Yes Nicole parking isn’t going to be great. The flats get a parking space each, but no spaces for either of the retail units.

Have a look at the plans, they are indeed ‘compact’, though given the state of local housing prices bet they wont be cheap. Handy for the shops mind!
