Big brother is watching your visit to Wellington Retail Park; if you park here for more than 3 hours you will receive a ‘Parking Invoice’ in the post for £100.
To police the maximum 3 hours parking Automatic Number plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras have been installed, these cameras are computer linked to Highview Parking’s HQ, should their computer deem that you have overstayed, your vehicle’s numberplate will be looked up against the DVLC records via a computer link, a letter will be automatically printed and sent to the registered keeper of the vehicle.
How to handle this ‘invoice’ is outside the scope of this article, though I’d here’s a few suggestions to avoid that invoice, if you’re going to shop for more than 3 hours then pay to park elsewhere, have access to two or more cars, or just use Amazon.
If you’ve received a ‘Parking Charge’ for overstaying in this car park, please let us know!
