Fried Chicken Lovers Rejoice: New Bedhampton KFC Approved

Saturday 18th February 2017 by Steve Mayne

Fried Chicken lovers can rejoice, sing hallelujah and do the Hokey Cokey; the proposed Bedhampton Kentucky Fried Chicken drive-thru restaurant has been approved.

The new restaurant will be situated on the scrub land between the Bedhampton Asda and the Bedhampton McDonalds drive-thu.

This will be the third KFC in the area, the other two purveyors of fried chicken cooked in a secret spice blend of 11 herbs and spices are located at Cowplain and Havant.

I spoke to the Waterlooville developers last week, a cinema complex was agreed in planning but …..developers have contacted several cinema chains and not one of them is interested in building there… doesn’t look very good!

Absolutely crazy isn’t it , with all these new homes you would think they would build something for entertainment so people don’t have to travel out of the area for a bit of fun

Port Solent is only 10 or so mins away by car? I know where I’d prefer to go, the place with a dozen places to eat and drink set in a relaxing marina environment 😝
