The developer has submitted plans for Waterlooville’s The Wellington Pub, the developer wishes to demolish the pub and replace it with a modern 3 storey building. There’s been a public house here since before 1867.
It is proposed that the first and second storeys comprise of 8 flats, of these 4 flats would have 2 bedrooms and the remaining 4 flats would have a single bedrooms. This is a total of 12 bedrooms.
No parking spaces are proposed for the residents that would live here, Havant Borough Council’s car vehicle policy for dwellings state that a development of this size in Waterlooville Town Centre could require up to 8 car parking spaces. Instead of car parking spaces the developer has proposed bike storage.
The ground floor would comprise of retail and could be divided into sub-units. Two car parking spaces have been allocated to the retail staff.
