Cutting Edge Fabrics taking shape

Thursday 27th July 2017 by Steve Mayne

Spread the love

The new Cutting Edge Fabrics store, located at the former location of The Fabric Warehouse, is taking shape with what has to be said is a very bold, very bright, and a very purple shop sign.

I have a great idea, let’s rent a place where a fabric shop had to close due to lack of sales, and open a fabric shop. Can’t lose. Genius

Fabric warehouse actually went into administration, which is why it closed down. I for one am incredibly pleased this is opening, their service is great, and as a dressmaker I find it very frustrating to have to drive to Portsmouth or Chichester to get supplies. They closed their Portsmouth store as the rent was put up. Do you know if there will still be free customer parking at the back like there was when fabric warehouse was there?

Rosamund Knight they went into administration because they’re outgoings were more than they’re incomings. Obviously Waterlooville doesn’t need a fabric/haberdashery shop. It’s the same with store 21. They mostly sold soft furnishings. They’re gone too.

Rick Store 21 sold mostly clothes and a handful of homewares.

They need to get rid of cafe Havana. I had possibly the worst ever cheese on toast there a little while ago. Never tasted anything like it. I washed my mouth out with soap after.
